Board of directors

The Board of Directors of our Manager consists of the following five members:

Matthew Banks

Matthew Banks

Mr. Banks is Global Head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Real Estate, which manages real estate projects and investments located in Australia, Korea and the Americas.

Mr. Banks joined Macquarie in November 2001 as an Executive Director within the Real Estate Group and has led various business divisions during a period of global expansion for Macquarie. Mr. Banks was also a director of Macquarie Bank’s associated real estate private equity investment company, MGPA (a real estate investment platform across Europe and Asia) until October 2013. Previously, Mr. Banks was chief executive officer for the real estate businesses in the United States and Australia of Lend Lease Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Martin Stanley

Martin Stanley

Mr. Stanley is the Global Head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets. He joined Macquarie in July 2004 and became CEO of Macquarie's European infrastructure fund.

Mr. Stanley has ultimate responsibility for all of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets managed funds. Prior to joining Macquarie, Mr. Stanley was a director at TXU Europe Group, whose principal business was energy services, including the generation, supply and trading of electricity and gas.

Graeme Conway

Graeme Conway

Mr. Conway is a Senior Managing Director and is responsible for MIRA’s operations in the Americas and also leads deal sourcing and execution of acquisitions for MIRA.

Mr. Conway has 15 years experience in infrastructure and has worked in markets around the world including Australia, Europe and North America. Mr. Conway has led numerous transactions across the water, energy, storage and renewable energy sectors. 

Mr. Conway began his career with Macquarie in 1997 and has worked in advisory, project finance, structured finance and infrastructure funds management.

In 2001, Mr. Conway moved to the U.K., where he was instrumental in the establishment of Macquarie’s first European infrastructure fund, MEIF1. Mr. Conway subsequently established Macquarie Capital Advisory’s European Utilities and Energy team and thereafter became Head of Macquarie Capital Europe. Mr. Conway moved to MIRA’s New York offices in 2012.

Mr. Conway has a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honors and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & Management from University of Western Australia.

Jonathan Davis

Jonathan Davis

Mr. Davis is the chairman of Macquarie Mexican Infrastructure Fund and has extensive experience and relationships with companies and the public sector in Mexico.

Mr. Davis worked previously as executive director for Mexico and the Dominican Republic at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), as President of the CNBV and as Treasurer of Mexico at the Ministry of Finance and Public Debt (where he also served as Director General of Public Credit prior to being Treasurer). Mr. Davis also serves on the boards of Banco Wal-Mart and Grupo Actinver, and was appointed a financial expert to the audit committee of Vitro.

Nick O'Neil

Nick O'Neil

Mr. O'Neil is the Head of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Mexico and CEO of Macquarie Mexican Infrastructure Fund, and has extensive alternative asset fund management experience including fundraising, structuring, investing and asset management.

Mr. O'Neil serves on the boards of a number of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets portfolio companies, including all Mexico portfolio companies, and serves on the board of the general partner for the Macquarie Crop Partners.

Mr. O'Neil has been with Macquarie since 2007 and received his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Bond University.
