Juan Monroy

Juan Monroy

Mr. Monroy has 18 years of real estate investment and development experience.

 Prior to joining Macquarie, he was a partner in real estate investment platforms focused on residential and retail real estate development, primarily in Mexico City. Juan is a former director of acquisitions at Acadia Realty Trust, a vice president of international operations at Loews Cineplex Entertainment, and a private equity professional at Onex Investment Corp.

Mr. Monroy received his BA in Business and Finance from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) where he graduated with honors. He received his MBA from NYU Stern Business School and completed the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Peter Gaul

Peter Gaul

Mr. Gaul has 27 years of real estate and real estate finance experience, 16 of them in the Mexican market. 

Mr. Gaul is a former vice president of Verde Realty, a former senior vice president for acquisitions at Corporate Properties of the Americas and a former director at GE Capital Real Estate Mexico. 

Mr. Gaul has a B.A. in History from Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern Business School.

Simon Hanna

Simon Hanna

Mr. Hanna served as Chief Financial Officer of the Macquarie Russia & CIS Infrastructure Fund from March 2010 prior to his appointment with our fund. 

Before that, he was head of the Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund finance operations in London from 2004 to 2010.

Mr. Hanna joined Macquarie Group in its Sydney office in 1999, where he supported the Corporate Asset Finance division, a business focusing on leasing and lending activities.

Mr. Hanna holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales and is a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia).
